Shower base carrier structure

The carrier structure for the base plate covering of wet areas, such as a shower base, is a plate-shaped module (1,2) with a relatively thick core (10) of polystyrene with relatively thin bonding layers (11, 12) on the upper and lower surfaces, with a water-impermeable layer material (11) at least at the upper surface. Complementary bonding pieces (14) are at the end sides to give a keyed fit when in place, and allowing easy dismantling of adjacent modules.
