Goods vehicle with low slung lowerable loading platform

The goods vehicle comprises at least parts (2b,2c) of the loading platform (2) which can be lowered to the ground using a central frame (1) positioned between the wheel axes (13a,13b). The loading platform has a rigid, non-lowerable section (2a) supported by the central frame over the rear axle (13a). The side walls and the roof (11) of the superstructure are suspended over cross-beams arranged at the ends of the lowerable sections. The vertical posts (4) are made as telescopic tubes.
