Threading of yarns at two for one twister

To give a pneumatic threading action on the yarns drawn out from two supply bobbins, over each other on the same axis in a two-for-one twister, the yarn from the lower bobbin (5) is led to the upper end of the yarn tube (21) for this bobbin, and compressed air is passed through the tube to carry the yarn with it. The upper bobbin (27), together with its holder, is placed over the lower bobbin. The yarn from the lower bobbin is clamped at the upper end of the lower yarn tube (21) before the yarn from the upper bobbin is placed at the upper end of its tube (29), and compressed air is delivered for threading. Also claimed is a two-for-one twisting spindle with two yarn tubes (21,29) over each other and with a gap between them. A yarn threader, with a compressed air operation, is at the hollow axis of the spindle near the lower bobbin (5), to suck the yarn into the hollow spindle in an injection action and, carried by the compressed air, through the yarn guide channel (23) of the yarn store disc (3). The upper tube (29) is under spring tension for adjustable positioning against the upper edge of the lower yarn tube (21).
