Screw socket connection for pipelines of large nominal width

The key collar (1) of the screw ring (2) has opposite the screw-in turning direction at least two and max. six inwardly dropping insert channels of rectangular cross-section. These are formed towards the inner face (4) of the collar as radially wedged-shaped cast guide grooves (5). A wedged shaped elongated locking element (6) consists of a tightening face (8) which has a bevel at an angle of 4 deg. and of a base surface which works against the shear direction of the insert end and has saw-toothed profiled claws (10) with a profiled depth of 1.5 to 3 mm and a saw angle of 45 deg. The locking element has the same dimensions for all nominal widths.
