PURPOSE:To obtain a raised woven fabric having natural appearance and feeling by raising a woven fabric made of a blend of a polyester and cotton and thinning the raised fabric. CONSTITUTION:A processed woven fabric imparted with a raised appearance and a natural feeling is produced by raising a woven fabric composed of a blend of a polyester and cotton with e.g. an Emery raising machine and subjecting the raised fabric to a thinning treatment using caustic soda, etc., for the thinning of the polyester and a cellulase enzyme for the thinning of cotton. The thinning ratio (weight ratio) of each fiber in the above thinning treatment is 2.0-20.0% for polyester and 0.5-8.0%, especially 1.0-4.0% for cotton. |
