PURPOSE:To enhance ink supply efficiency while preventing the contact of an ink absorbing member with a surface equipped with an ink supply opening by providing the first rib coming into contact with the ink absorbing member on the surface equipped with the ink supply opening. CONSTITUTION:An ink absorbing member 6 is received in an ink tank 1 and an ink lead-out member 7 is provided between the ink absorbing member 6 and an ink supply opening 8. The ink supply opening 8 is formed to one bottom surface of the ink tank 1 and, therefore, the ink absorbing member 6 is easy to adhere to the other bottom surface of the ink tank 1 without generating a gap. Ink becomes easy to accumulate at the adhesion part and possibility such that ink is leaked from the ink supply opening 8 or an atmosphere communicating opening is generated according to the posture of the ink tank 1. In order to improve this trouble, a rib 10 is provided to the bottom surface of the ink tank 1. |
