<p>PURPOSE:To provide a thermal head wherein a guide member or the like is dispensed with so that a whole structure is miniaturized and a thermally sensitive record medium can be easily guided on heating elements with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of heating elements 2, a driving IC 4 selectively driving the heating elements 2 and a resin material 5 that covers the driving IC 4 and guides a thermally sensitive record medium 7 on the heating elements 2 are provided on a head substrate 1, thus forming a thermal head. The resin material 5 forms a flat surface 5a at least in a region R whereby the thermally sensitive record medium 7 is guided and the surface roughness thereof is 100mum or less in the central average roughness.</p> |
