The coating method buries the Co based cermet coated material in powder pack composed of low active aluminium alloy powder, activating agent and sintering preventing substance (alumina), and heat-treating at 850˜1050dog. C for 5˜20 hrs. The method is applied to manufacturing of a hearth roll. The coatings have excellent resistance to wear.
