The steel plate for sewer pipe is manufactured by hot-rolling a steel slab comprising (by wt.) 0.015˜0.05% C, 0.2˜0.3% Mn, up to 0.02% P, up to 0.02% S, 0.2˜0.3% Cu, 0.1˜0.2% Ni, 0.5˜1.0 Ni/Cu and balance Fe with inevitable impurities; coiling the hot-rolled steel plate at low temperature of 580˜640 deg.C and acid cleaning it; and galvanizing the coiled steel plate in zinc bath of 440˜460 deg.C. The obtained steel plate has excellent corrosion resistance.
