PURPOSE:To produce the feed for fry, consisting of an organism fed with a specific alga, having high DHA content and free from toxicity. CONSTITUTION:Plankton such as rotifer and artemia is fed with an alga belonging to marine microalga, capable of producing docosahexaenoic acid, having particle diameter of 1-20mum and free from toxicity and the cultured plankton is used as a feed for fry. It is preferable to fed a fry with the plankton after 12-24hr from the start of the feeding of alga. The alga is preferably Crypthecodinium cohnii. |
