PURPOSE: To protect against a high shock during transportation and loading by detachably attaching cushioning corner protection members with an approximately disk form to respective corners of a product container packing a photosensitive material and wrapping the whole container in a soft material layer. CONSTITUTION: The packaging material 10 is provided with corner protection members 12 attached at least to opposite corners 16, 22 on a diagonal line of a product container 18 and a corner protection member 12 attached to one of corners 14 and 20 adjacent to either of the opposite corners 14, 16. The corner protection member 12 is formed of a soft material such as rubber, cork or polyethylene. After the corner protection members 12 are completely attached to the corners 14, 16, 20, 22 of the product container 18, a flexible web layer 50 is shrunk to completely wrap around the product container 18 including the members 12. Thus an economical package which can be completely recycled, is easy to store and can protect against a high shock during transportation or loading can be obtained. |
