PURPOSE:To provide a flexible fluid transport pipe for the special high pressure which is lightweight and is suitable for the use in a deep sea having a specific water depth. CONSTITUTION:A fluid transport pipe is constituted so that an inner pressure reinforcing layer 4 is installed on the outer periphery of a plastic pipe 3 installed through a tape layer 2 on a metal carcass 1, and on the outside, a reinforcing stripe 5 made of metal is wound in a spiral form in a long pitch, and further, an erosionproof layer 6 made of plastic is installed on the outside, and the inner pressure reinforcing layer 4 on the outer periphery of the plastic pipe is formed by lamination-winding a one-axis extension tape made of superhigh molecular weight polyethylene. Accordingly, in comparison with the conventional steel belt-reinforced type fluid transport pipe, the weight of the inner pressure reinforcing layer 4 can be reduced drastically to about 1/18 or less, and the weight can be drastically reduced as the fluid transport pipe, and also the use in a deep sea having a water depth of 1,000m is sufficiently enabled. Further, also the material cost of the inner pressure reinforcing layer 4 can be reduced drastically to 65% of the conventional steel band-reinforced type fluid transport pipe, and the actual use performance is exceedingly improved. |
