An intestinal flora improver composition containing viable cells of an enterobacterium as the antiallergic ingredient; another intestinal flora improver composition containing viable cells of an enterobacterium of the genus Streptococcus, Enterococcus, Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus or Clostridium; and still another intestinal flora improver composition containing at least 100 billion viable cells of an enterobacterium in terms of daily intake. The invention also provides an apparatus and a system for producing these compositions comprising a vessel for culturing a microorganism on a medium and a heater provided on at least the bottom of the vessel.
