PURPOSE:To obtain a water-dispersed oil composition for hot rolling of aluminum (alloy), excellent in lubricity in rolling, surface quality of a plate, and emulsion stability by using a specified mineral oil and a plurality of specified compounds each in a specified amount as the constituents. CONSTITUTION:This composition contains a mineral oil having a viscosity of at most 80cSt (40 deg.C), 3-30wt.% of at least one compound selected from a 10-22C fatty acid, an oil or fat, and a 10-22C fatty acid monoester of a 1-22C alcohol (e.g. oleic acid), 0.5-10wt.% 4-18C alkyl or alkenyl phosphate (phosphite) (e.g. dilauryl phosphite), and 0.1-10wt.% organic acid [represented by the formula R<4>COOH (wherein R<4> is 1-5C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, carboxyalkyl or carboxyl)] salt of a high-molecular compound having an average molecular weight of 10,000 to 1,000,000 and comprising a copolymer of a monomer of the formula (wherein R<1> is H or CH3; R2 and R3 are each H or 1-3C alkyl; m is 0 or 1; and n is 1 to 3) and (meth)acrylamide and/or a (meth)acrylic salt. |
