PURPOSE:To obtain a penpoint at a low cost suitable for use of writing Arabic script by making it with synthetic resin, and providing a slant directional property at a writing contact part where the right-band end part is situated at the tip-end side rather than in the left-hand end part at the time of placing the writing contact part into contact with the writing surface. CONSTITUTION:A penpoint is made of synthetic resin such as polyacetal or polyetherketone, and formed by obtaining a continuous matter being circular in its cross-section through extrusion molding, and then cutting it into a predetermined length, followed by forming into tapered shape in its end part. Namely, the end part of the penpoint has five surfaces and formed so that the right-hand end part 5 is positioned at the tip end side rather than in the left-hand end part 6 when the writing contact part 4 is put into contact with the writing surface. In addition, the wall thickness (a) of the right-hand end part 5 is made thinner than that (b) of the left-hand end part 6. An ink conduit 2 is opened only at the tip-end surface 3, however, it can be opened partially at the surface 7, and the ink conduit 2 in the cross sectional surface of the penpoint 1 is formed with appropriate patterns. |
