PURPOSE: To provide a liquid dispenser which can be used in an erected state and which does not include a soaking tube. CONSTITUTION: The liquid dispenser includes a dispenser 1 attached to a container 2 containing a liquid 3 forming a free surface 4 inside wherein the dispenser 1 includes an inlet orifice 5 positioned above the free surface 4 during normal operation. The dispenser comprises a pump 1 including a pump body 7, while a liquid holding member 6 connected to the inlet orifice 5 of the pump 1 and to the container 2 is provided. The liquid holding member 6 receives a predetermined amount of liquid 15 when the liquid dispenser is swung or inclined from an erected posture where the pump 1 is on a top of the container 2, and it continues to connect the predetermined amount of liquid 15 which has been received to the inlet orifice 5 of the pump 1 when the liquid dispenser is in an erected state.
