PAPER SHEET TURN-OVER CONVEYING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To perform smooth conveyance of a paper sheet without applying an unreasonable load on the paper sheet by a method wherein the nip direction of a paper sheet turn-over conveying means when the paper sheet is inputted and conveyed to a paper sheet turn-over conveyance passage is differed from that when the paper sheet is turned over for conveyance through the paper sheet turn-over conveyance passage. CONSTITUTION:A nip direction between a paper sheet conveyance roller 1 and a roller 2 serving as the paper sheet turn-over conveying means of a paper sheet turn-over conveyance passage PS is switched so that a paper sheet is pointed to the direction N1 of a first paper sheet conveyance passage P1 when the paper sheet S is conveyed and inputted from the first paper sheet conveyance passage P1 to a paper sheet turn-over conveyance passage PS. Further, when the paper sheet is conveyed in a turn-over state and discharged through the paper sheet turn-over conveyance passage PS, the paper sheet is switched in a state to point to the direction N2 of a second paper sheet conveyance passage P2. This constitution performs smooth conveyance of the paper sheet without applying an unreasonable load and executes constantly reliable and stable turn-over conveyance processing without the occurrence of a jam trouble.
