The label feed device described in the parent Specification is modified in that the adhesive transfer segments 2 are fastened to free ends of rocking levers 12 which are attached to spindles 13 pivotally mounted on the carrier 1 such that the segments 2 can be swung out of the rotary path of the carrier, be retarded relative to the latter to roll over the foremost label of a stack 4, and then swung back with acceleration relative to the carrier to deliver the label to a transfer drum 7 (Fig. 2, not shown). Movement of the segments 2 is effected by the engagement of toothed segments 14 on the spindles with other toothed segments on respective arms of bell-cranks 16, the other arms of which have rollers 17 which run over a stationary cam track 19. Each bell-crank is pivotally supported on a pin 18 on the carrier.</p> |
