PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical preparation for treating phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-dependent conditions, especially tumor in humans. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical preparation for treating phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-dependent conditions contains one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by formula I [R is H or methoxy; R<1> is CH3 , OH, OAc, a 1-4C alkoxy or methanesulfonate; R<2> and R<3> are each OH, OAc, =O or an O (1-4C alkyl), with the proviso that two or more of R<1> to R<3> are not simultaneously OAc], e.g.α,β-viridine, a compound represented by formula II (R<2> is =O or OH), e.g. viron and a compound represented by formula III (R<2> ' is =O or OH), e.g. wortmannolone. The preparation is brought into contact with a dissolved cell, whole cell, tissue or organism to inhibit the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase therein.
