PURPOSE:To prevent a pulsimeter from indicating wrong pulses by invalidating too long or too short pulsation time required for pulses, measured by palpation, to beat a predetermined number of times. CONSTITUTION:A pulse time measuring apparatus comprises a timer for clocking time for pulses, measured with palpation by a user, to beat a predetermined number of times (10, for instance) and a control unit 3 determining whether the timer shows '20' seconds or not. When the measured time reaches 20 seconds, obtained numbers of pulses is 30 which can never be practical, so that the timer is cleared of the data and restored to an initial mode. When the measured time by the timer is longer than 3 seconds, pulses are applied to operation and operation is done, that 600 is divided by the measured time required for pulses to be counted '10' so as for pulses per one minute to be calculated. A strength in exercise is calculated from an age data set up in an age register and from the computed pulsation data. |
