A reciprocating pump has a pump housing (1) in which there is formed a cylinder (3) having an inlet (9) and an outlet (10) and in which a piston (6) is mounted for revolving rotational movement about an axis (7). The piston (6) is arranged alternately to open and close an inlet (9) and an outlet (10) of the cylinder. Liquid to be delivered is aspired and expelled by simultaneous travel of the piston (6) which has an outwardly directed obliquely extending flange (20) which rests on a roller (21) arranged radially in the pump housing (1). A projection (23) which is rigid with the housing (1) overlaps the flange (20) above the roller (21). |
