<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for paper manuscripts and to make a speech to keep up with the scheduled time by displaying draft data being scrolled using a display control means, indicating the number of unspoken rows of this draft data, and calculating and displaying the anticipated finish time of the speech using an auxiliary information generation means according to set scroll speed and the remaining rows. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disk 10 storing a speech draft is inputted from a floppy-disk device 8 and a readout circuit 11 and written into an image memory 16 from a display control circuit 14 through an editing circuit 12. An expected speech time is fed from a keyboard 9 to an auxiliary information generator circuit 30, and in a display portion, the remaining rows of draft data being spoken is calculated. Scroll speed is fed from the keyboard 9 to a scroll signal generator circuit 20 and the anticipated finish time of the speech is calculated from the time of that pulse interval. The remaining time, the anticipated finish time, the elapsed time and the remaining rows are displayed in a display unit 4 from the display control circuit 14.</p> |
