<p>PURPOSE:To maintain the standby position of a rotator to handle and deliver sheets and reduce cost and design load by calculating the rotating number of the rotator and controlling the stop angle corresponding to the end position of the sheets detected in a period from starting rotating the rotator to stopping rotating the rotator. CONSTITUTION:When a start button on an operation panel C is pushed, a stepping motor is driven so that an original is held by a preliminary carrying roller 2 and a preliminary carrying and thrusting piece 26 with the end handled. The preliminary carrying roller 2 approximately oval-shaped is on standby at a stop angle theta of 5 deg. to a sheet carrying direction when on standby, and controlled to be rotated a preset number and returned to the standby position after the reading of the original is completed. The rear end of the original is detected by a DES sensor, an original discharge roller 6a driven by the stepping motor is rotated a preset number in accordance with the detection signal of the DES sensor to discharge and load the original on an original discharge tray.</p> |
