<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a water-based fluorescent ink containing a fluorescent dye insoluble or scarcely soluble in water and soluble in organic solvent and fine particles of a specific polyester resin in a state finely dispersed in an aqueous medium, giving a water-resistant film after drying, having excellent storage stability, etc., and useful for coating material fire-protection mark, etc. CONSTITUTION:This ink contains (A) a fluorescent dye insoluble or scarcely soluble in water and soluble in organic solvent and (B) fine particles of a polyester resin having an average particle diameter of <=1mum, containing 20-1,000eq./ ton of ionic group and finely dispersed in an aqueous medium. The polyester resin of the component B is preferably a polyester resin derived e.g. from polybasic carboxylic acids having an aromatic monomer content of >=80mol%, 0-90mol% of ethylene glycol and 100-10mol% of propylene glycol. The amount of the component A is preferably 0.1-40wt.% based on the component B. It is essential that the ink particle has a volume average particle diameter D of <=1mum.</p> |
