Next, for example, a ribbon 11 is moved so that an yellow hue is positioned at an initial printing position and a recording head 12 is allowed to fall to perform printing. After the drum 14 is allowed to make one revolution to perform printing by an yellow hue, the recording head 12 is continuously held to the state pressing the ribbon 11. At this time, the transparent part between yellow and magenta hues corresponds to a part where the leading end and rear end of the recording paper 13 are overlapped by one revolution of the drum 14.
