PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricating oil composition which combines excellent anti-seizing performance and low corrosiveness. CONSTITUTION:This composition comprises a base oil which is a mineral oil, a synthetic oil, or a mixture of both, a phosphoric ester (a), orthophosphoric acid (b), a metal phosphate (c), and an organochlorine compound (d). This composition, in which the ingredients (a) to (d) are dissolved in the base oil, is produced by incorporating not less than 0.5wt.% the ingredient (a), not less than 0.3wt.% the ingredient (b), and not less than 0.1wt.% the ingredient (c) into the base oil, heating the mixture to 80 deg.C or higher, subsequently cooling it to room temp., and then incorporating not less than 0.5wt.% the ingredient (d) thereinto. |
