PURPOSE:To obtain a plated steel sheet having good appearance by spraying molten zinc contg. a small amt. of Al to the surfaces of a band-shaped steel sheet having a prescribed temp. in a non-oxidizing atmosphere, thereby plating the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:The particulates of the molten zinc are sprayed to the surfaces of the band-shaped steel sheet subjected to a pretreatment, by which the surfaces of the steel sheet are plated in the non-oxidizing atmosphere. At this time, the molten zinc of the components consisting, by weight %, of <=0.08% Al and the balance Zn or further consisting of <=0.5% total of >=1 kinds of the respective elements among Fe, Pb and Cd in addition thereto is used. The coating weight per surface of the plating is regulated to 130g/m<2> and the temp. of the band-shaped steel sheet prior to the plating to the m.p. of Zn-20 to 580 deg.C. |
