FIBER HAVING MULTIPLE-PHASE STRUCTURE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber having remarkably modified fiber performance or imparted with new function and having excellent durability of the function and to obtain its production process. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber having a multiple-phase structure is produced by polymerizing a monomer retained in the substrate of a fiber. This process gives a combination of a fiber substrate and a parasitic polymer having durable modified or imparted functions and unable to be attained by conventional spinning technique.
