GROUT AND GROUTING METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain a grout which has a gel time easily adjustable and an initial gel strength adjustable. CONSTITUTION:A grout comprises a main component comprising a monomer- contg. silica sol alone or together with a monomer-free silica sol and a curative component comprising a mixture of amidosulfuric acid with a calcium compd. The two components are mixed in a proper ratio to give a mixture with a desired gel time and is injected into ground. An adjusting agent such as citric acid may be mixed into the grout on injecting it into ground to attain a desired gel time.
