PURPOSE: To simplify a device which reduces an increase in a bearing play, so as to reduce its manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: This crankshaft bearing for internal combustion engines is provided in an internal combustion engine housing made of a light metal alloy and has a bearing hole 24 for a crankpin 9 of a crankshaft 8. The crankshaft bearing is provided with a device 25 which reduces an increase in a bearing play which occurs during operation of the internal combustion engine. The device includes a compensating member 26 provided between the bearing bore and the crankpin. The compensating member has a relatively high coefficient of expansion.
