PURPOSE: To detect arrhythmia tachycardia which can be inhibited by stimulation by determining the maxium number satisfying a specified stable standard which is the self correlative maximum value of the interval of hearbeat signals detected in the first ventricle and the maximum value of heartbeat signals which is the maximum value of a cross-correlation. CONSTITUTION: At the time of determining the tachycardia which can be inhibited by stimulation in the ventricle, first subsequently to the R-wave detection, the ventricle signal interval RR is compared with a designated 'slow' limit value about 600 ms, and if RR>'slow' limit value, heart rhythm is determined to be natural rhythm. Further, the self correlative maximum value (peak RR) and the cross-correlation maximum value (peak PR) are determined, the average interval RR is compared with 'exterme rapid' limit value, and if the average interval RR<'eterame rapid' limit value, it is decided that ventricular fibrillation is present. Subsequently, the peak RR is divided by the total number of RR, and if the quotient is smaller than a designated ratio equal to about 75%, the ventricle property tachycardia is decided, and the peak PR is divided by peak RR, and if quotient is smaller than a designated ratio equal to about 75%, the presence of ventricular tachycardia is decided. |
