<p>A machine for the application of small metal items, such as lace hooks to a fabric, leather or plastic product comprising a structure 1 with respect to which a spindle 5, carrying a lace hook 10, is moved with an alternating motion towards an opposing part 7 fixed where the part is to be fixed, the said metal part being supplied to the spindle from a feeder 55. The spindle consists of two portions 5A, 5B that can move relative to each other, but are connected together, a first end portion 5B being able to receive the metal part 10 from the feeder 55, and being moved firmly to the second portion 5A only during a portion of the to and fro stroke of the spindle of the opposing part 7. <IMAGE></p> |
