The silo has a lower side wall (1) and a roof (2) supported on the upper edge of the wall. The wall and roof have a common vertical axis of symmetry (Z). The lower side wall is constituted on the largest part of its periphery by identical prefabricated main panels (7) placed side by side. Each panel has an isosceles trapezoidal form converging towards the top. They are assembled together along their convergent adjacent sides so that they are inclined towards the interior of the silo at the same angle (a). The side wall has, on a small part of its periphery, an airlock (16) giving access to the interior. This airlock is delimited by a lintel and side partition walls supporting on their upper parts prefabricated auxiliary panels of smaller height than those of the main panels. They are of isosceles trapezoidal form to ensure continuity of the side wall above the airlock.
