The pliers are for elastic rings (10) of the type with an open contour and whose ends are equipped with mounting holes (12). The pliers (14) comprise two levers (16, 18) joined together at their distal ends and form claws (26, 28). The levers are equipped with anchoring fingers (36, 38) destined to engage in the mounting holes (12) of an elastic ring. The anchoring fingers (36, 38) are fixed in the holes in the ends (40, 42) of the claws (26, 28) and may be of circular section of constant diameter.
