The invention concerns easy open ends of a layered construction constituted of a foil of plastic material (7) on each of the faces of which adheres a metal foil (9) and their fabrication process. The end is characterized by the nature of the material, a metal-polymer-metal construction, and by the fact that the tear line permitting the total or partial opening of the end includes two neighboring score lines (10) and (11), the one a certain distance from the other, the one (11) formed in the internal foil of the end, the other (10) in the external foil of the end. The invention covers easy open ends for food cans as well as easy open ends for beverage cans.
