The aiming device tilts a reflector to vary the direction of a light-beam. It includes a worm gear (61) rotated by a motor (59) with a worm wheel (9) in mesh with the worm. The worm wheel has an axially extending hole the inner surface of which has a screw thread (12). The worm wheel engages a radially extending flange (10). A shaft (26) includes a holder shaft (27) and an adjusting shaft (31). The holder shaft has a screw thread (28) which engages the worm wheel. The adjusting shaft is rotatably supported by the holder shaft and coupled with the reflector. A holder (21) is fitted on the shaft member and slidably contacts the worm wheel. A casing body (6) is provided for fixing the holder. The casing has contacts (18a) slidably contacting the worm wheel, wherein the worm wheel is rotatably held between the holder and the casing. The shaft member is axially moved upon rotation of the worm wheel.
