Pneumatic fibre feed and opening roller for open end spinner

Fibres (20) are fed pneumatically to the collecting surface of an open end spinner from an opening roller (10) which is supplied with a fibre fringe by a feed roller (30). Air circulating (f2) with the opening roller is fed back to the inlet (40) of the fibre feed tube (4) through an air channel (6) near the opening roller end face. The channel is formed by a local increase in the distance between the roller end face (11) and the cover (16) in the region between the feed position (13) and the fibre feed tube inlet (40).
