Axially short commutator motor rotor

The rotor is for commutator motors of a shorter axial length. A rotor plate packet (5) and a commutator (7) are fastened to a rotor shaft (3). The connection ends of the rotor winding (39,41) are fed out from the rotor grooves (43,45) to respective hooks (13) at the commutator lamina. The commutator (7) positioned at one end (19) of the rotor shaft (3) has, in its outwardly facing surface (33) a centring recess (35) for a centring pin. This enables the shaft (3) to be centred with the plate packet (5) on winding the coils (39,41). At its other end (32), the shaft (3) has a stump (31) extending from the back surface (23) of the plates (5).
