Gas turbine system (50) incorporates an improved combustion system (52) having no control linkage, but instead, a pneumatically actuatable valve (58) that is mounted within a housing (56). Housing (56) does not have a plurality of holes formed therein for admitting a mechanical linkage, as does the housing in a conventional gas turbine system.
