Gas burner using induced atmospheric air and gas type compensation

The gas burner operating with air at atmospheric pressure has an air distributor chamber (1) with an inlet (2) mounted alongside a gas duct (3) with inlet (4) which supply the burner assembly (7,8). Each burner combustion tube (7) is axially aligned with a gas jet (5) which traverses the distributor chamber to exit via an orifice (6) of sufficient diameter to provide an annular air gap. During operation the gas flow through the jet draws in air at the orifice and the two enter the tube for combustion at the burner surface (8). A flame temperature sensor (9) controls a variable speed fan (10) which supplies auxiliary air to compensate for variations in gas characteristics.
