A device for forming an environmental seal around an object comprises: (a) a split housing (19) having a chamber (22, 23) that can surround the object; (b) an inflatable bladder (28, 29) that can be inflated around the object and within the chamber (22, 23), the housing (19) having a window (24, 25) breaking through its split such that the bladder (28, 29) can seal to a seal (32) outside the chamber.
