Modular plate heat exchanger for gaseous media

The recuperative heat exchanger operates on the counter current principle. It consists of stackable, (dis)mountable, separating flat modules with such sealing faces that inlet, outlet, and intermediate branches for the medium flows are formed by orthogonal and mirror image setting of the modules. Thus a countercurrent medium flows are formed, when the modules are set in a desired spacing. Pref. the modules have edges, centring nipples, rims, or colour markings so that only an orthogonal, aligned, and correctly lateral set stacking can take place.
