A foundry mould-making machine has a liq. injection system, with more than one atomising nozzle (9) for injecting a liq. spray into the mould chamber before filling with moulding material (esp. sand) particles, the system including a first nozzle opening (28), supplied with liq. through a valve (32,33)-controlled line (19,25), and a second adjacent nozzle opening (29), supplied with atomising air. The novelty is that a rapidly reacting valve (13), located in the liq. supply line (19,25), connects the downstream line portion (25), located between the valve (13) and the first nozzle opening (28), to an exhaust line (21) and interrupts its connection to the liq. supply side of the valve (13) when the pressure in this downstream line portion (25) is higher than the pressure at the liq. supply side of the valve (13). |
