<p>A cushion strap assembly (20) and method of making the same is provided which cushion strap assembly (20) adapted to be used in a brassiere shoulder strap (15). The assembly includes a top fabric layer (22), a first adhesive web layer (24) positioned on one side of the top fabric layer, and a base layer (26) positioned on the first adhesive layer (24) on the side opposite that of the top layer (22). The assembly (20) also includes a cushion filler (32) that is a first cushion layer (32), a third adhesive web layer (34) positioned on a side of the first cushion layer (32), a second cushion layer (36) positioned on the third adhesive layer (34) on the side opposite that of the first cushion layer (32). A second adhesive web layer (30) can be a part of the cushion filler or separate. In either event, it is positioned on the first cushion layer (32) on the side opposite the third adhesive web layer (34). The assembly (20) further includes a fourth adhesive web layer (38) positioned on the second cushion layer (36) on the side opposite that of the third adhesive web layer (34), and a bottom fabric layer (28) positioned on the fourth adhesive web layer (38) on the side opposite that of the second cushion layer (36).</p> |
