Starter switch for heater installation

The heating installation is controlled by a programmable sequence switch which starts a heating cycle, following a fall in temperature, after a predetermined time, following the previous heating cycle. The switch is so programmed that cold water, at a temperature below the dew-point, is prevented from entering the heating circuit, where it can cause condensation. It is preferred to cause a time delay, established by trial, to enable the boiler water to reach a suitable temperature before circulation starts, than use of temperature control.
