There is at least one double-layered mid-sole (3) between the insole (1) and sole (2), having an upper and lower surface and welded along its edges to include different volume zones (5). These zones are connected together by flow channels (4) and are filled with a flow medium. The zones are of different sizes and form a communicating system. The flow medium can be water or oil and to increase compressibility should contain a certain amount of non-soluble gas such as air to produce compressible gas bubbles. The underneath surface of the mid-sole can lie directly above the inner plane of the sole whilst its upper surface, facing the insole, can have different protrusions and surface boundaries.
