Separator of liquid from liquid-bearing gas

The machine to separate liquids from gases has an entry port for the liquid-bearing gas, a first exit port for the liquid and a second exit port for the gas, once free of liquid. In the entry port, there is a device to adjust the flow cross-section. The entry port is a pipe (1) with a rigid wall (6) and the adjuster is a pneumatic element (7) that moves another wall (15). The element has a housing (9) containing an elastomeric membrane (10), pressed against by a spring (14) and attached to the adjuster rod. Where the rod passes through the fixed wall is gas tight. The chambers (11,12) on each side of the membrane are subject to different pressures.
