<p>Hyaluronate functionalized with dihydrazide is provided and may also be cross-linked. A method for producing hyaluronate functionalized with dihydrazide includes mixing hyaluronate and dihydrazide in aqueous solution, then adding carbodiimide so that the hyaluronate and dihydrazide react to form a functionalized hyaluronate. The figure depicts a 1H NMR spectra of hyaluronate-adipic dihydrazide synthesized in the presence of 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide.</p> |
