The apparatus recomposes the image that has a double line number compared with the input line number and eliminates the mosaic phenomenon. The apparatus comprises: a signal delay unit(10) outputting one horizontal delayed line; a signal adder(20) generating the addition and subtraction line signal; a first switching unit(50) selecting filtering data; a second switching unit(70) selecting the fast switch output whether or not "0"; and a maximum/minimum clipping unit(90).
