<p>A soft magnetic plate (4) is placed above the magnet and serves partly as a conduit for the magnetic flux, and partly as part of an impedance transformer between the antenna radiator (9) and the feeder conduit (6). The magnetic foot periphery is provided with an elastic surface (2) placed lower than the magnetic plate (3) bottom surface in order to reserve space for a car roof plate if this is convex when viewed from above. The soft magnetic plate or armature serves as part of an impedance transformer for matching the antenna rod impedance to the feeder conduit impedance, which is achieved by the coaxial cable central conductor passing through a recess or slot in the armature. The magnet under side is placed higher than the locating surface against the car plate, which locating surface can comprise the magnet capsulation, its armature or a separate elastic ring or membrane.</p> |
